Rwandan InvestmentMeeting Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame (above) prompted businessman Daniel Cooper to help major American companies do business with the African nation.
Description
The small country of Rwanda is known primarily for the terrible genocide in 1994 that left hundreds of thousands of people dead and turned the country upside-down. Because of this, companies might not think of Rwanda as a great place to do business, but investor Daniel Cooper wants to change that reputation.
With Westrock Capital Partners in Arkansas, Cooper has been helping major American companies do business with the African nation since he first met President Paul Kagame six years ago. He told host Peggy Wehmeyer that the changes in Rwanda are thanks to its disciplined and business-oriented president.
